Trip Itinerary

The team will travel together from the time they leave  on May 8 until their return on May 18.  Team members are responsible for transportation to and from the airport.  There are reasonably priced hotels near the airport where you can leave your car for a minimal charge and take the shuttle back and forth.  If you team up for transport or to share rooms, your costs should not be very much.

The flight itinerary on American Airlines is as follows:

On May 8, leave Cedar Rapids at 8:23 a.m.; and arrive in Managua at 5:08 p.m.
   (Leave Cedar Rapids at 8:23 a.m.; arrive Chicago at 9:20 a.m.; leave Chicago at 10:19 a.m.; arrive Miami at 2:14 p.m.; leave Miami at 4:32 p.m.; arrive Managua at 5:08 p.m.)

On May 18, leave Managua at 7:15 a.m.; and arrive in Cedar Rapids at 5:53 p.m.
   (Leave Managua at 7:15 a.m.; arrive Miami at 11:45 a.m.; leave Miami at 1:45 p.m.; arrive  St. Louis at 3:30 p.m.; leave St. Louis at 4:37 p.m.; arrive Cedar Rapids at 5:53 p.m.)

May 10 to 16- work in community

May 17 meetings and "fun days"

May 18 - Return from Nicaragua
